Raised Shower Platform.

An elevated bamboo shower floor with integrated water catchment, drainage, and recirculation. Stand on real bamboo slats instead of a puddle. Water passes through the deck, collects in a slanted PVC tray underneath, and drains away from camp or recirculates back through your HOTTAP v2 for longer showers with less water. Compatible with all Joolca ENSUITE tents. Folds down into a compact bundle for transport.

No puddle at your feet

The slanted PVC tray underneath the deck catches everything and holds it there. Water collects cleanly rather than spreading into the ground, keeping the shower zone dry and the rest of camp cleaner.

Ensuite Shower Base - Water capture

Stretch a small tank a long way

Quick-connect fittings let you pipe the collected water straight back into your HOTTAP v2 for recirculation, so a modest supply goes a long way. HOTTAP Go users can drain away from camp instead.

Built to hold its ground

The aluminium frame with ABS hinges is rated to 150 kg (330 lb). That's not a spec added as an afterthought. It's the reason the base feels solid and planted even when the ground underneath it isn't perfectly level.

Sets up without tools

The frame unfolds and locks, the slats drop in, and the quick-connect fittings make water management a one-push job. The whole thing is ready before the water even heats up.

  • Do I need an ENSUITE tent to use it?

    No. The Shower Base works as a standalone outdoor shower platform. The ENSUITE tents are designed to pair with it, but it sets up and functions fine without one.

  • Does it work with HOTTAP Go?

    Yes, for draining water away from camp. Recirculation back into the heater requires HOTTAP v2. HOTTAP Go users connect a hose to drain collected water away from the shower zone instead.

  • What fittings do I need?

    The base includes two male quick-connect fittings. You'll need female quick-connect fittings on your drainage or recirculation hoses — these aren't included and are sold separately.

  • How much water do I need for recirculation?

    Around 15–20 litres (4–5 gal) is a practical starting point for a comfortable shower. More water in the system means more consistent pressure and temperature as it recirculates.

  • Does it need to be on a flat surface?

    It works best on reasonably level ground. On a significant slope, water can run toward the low corner of the tray rather than draining evenly. A few minutes finding a flat spot makes a noticeable difference.

  • How long does it take to set up?

    Most people have it ready in under two minutes. The frame unfolds and locks, the slats drop in, and the water fittings are quick-connect. No tools required.
