Constructed from stainless steel and tough ABS plastic, the intake is sturdy enough to be thrown into shallow creeks and rivers. An integrated sinker keeps it submerged, whilst a collar and two-stage filter keeps debris out. To clean the filter, simply untwist the cover and pull apart, then flush out with water before putting back together.

After having issues with water flow, I turned the shower handle right side up and that solved the problem. Today I finally had time to put entire system together and take a shower. The pump and shower system worked fine. I was stressed during shower that the water was 74 degrees ... same temp as the outdoors. It was when I shut the water off that I realized that I'd neglect to open the gas valve....bittersweet moment. I haven't used the faucet yet, but expect it to function fine.
